Do your gifts come gift-wrapped? All pieces arrive wrapped in our signature Sugarplum Lane gift box and hand-made pouches. Small gift cards are included with every purchase. Gift cards are left outside the packed gift and inside the shipping box so they are easily accessible to the gift-giver.

What size chain do I buy? Sugarplum Lane recommends 14" chains for young girls, 16" for pre-teen girls and 18" or 20" chains for teenagers and adults.

How can I make returns or exchanges? If your special girl isn't delighted with her gift, simply call to arrange an exchange. All products are accepted for credit or exchange in the U.S. if returned in saleable condition within 30 days, accompanied by a copy of the receipt along with your reason for return. If your piece is found to be damaged or defective in any way when delivered to you, please return it to us within 30 days. If an item is scratched, worn, or damaged Sugarplum Lane reserves the right to not process the return. Will I be charged sales tax on my purchase? Sugarplum Lane is required by law to charge local and state sales tax for orders shipped to states where we conduct business. Therefore, all Sugarplum Lane online and phone orders will include sales tax where such taxes are obligatory by the destination state. Sales tax will be added for orders shipped to Massachusetts.

What is the best way to care for Sugarplum Lane fine jewelry pieces? All SPL's pieces are sterling silver, 925. It is natural for silver to tarnish over time. However, when properly treated, silver will last generations. Sugarplum Lane Promise Boxes were created to house Sugarplum Lane pieces, keeping pieces clean and dust free. However, silver will eventually tarnish when coming in contact with skin, perfume, lotions, etc., either by being worn around the neck or by finger prints. Please do not use toothpaste or chemical dips on Sugarplum Lane . Some "dip" polishes contain harsh chemicals and should be avoided. Use a small amount of a quality brand of silver polish. Use a soft cloth or sponge to apply the polish; rub the piece gently but firmly, using straight, even strokes. Wash thoroughly, removing all the polish: then rinse well in warm water, dry thoroughly and buff gently with a soft cloth. These cleaning techniques will keep your sterling bright and shiny. When not wearing Sugarplum Lane pieces, please keep them in the Promise Box to help preserve their luster.
